Just in from the Niteshift…Mike Stubbs and Brian Lange shot out to look for the elusive queen mackeral off Port Shepstone…and check Mike’s Queenfish! The Umzimkulu Mouth used to be a hot spot for Queenies like this, hopefully they are back. This fish went 12kg’s on the scale!

Aaron Passchier R.I.P.

Aaron Passchier drowned whilst spearfishing, off Tofo Point on Friday. There has been a memorial service with his family and friends. We are all deeply saddened at the loss of such a huge character, and all offer our condolences to Aaron’s family and friends.

Umzimkulu Leopard

Fishing the Umzimkulu River off Spiller’s Wharf yesterday afternoon, local angler Ahmed, pictured, hooked into a beautiful Leopard Ray. It took him a solid 10 minutes on ultra-light tackle.
