Plastic Recycling

A grassroots approach to Plastic Recycling, by The Sardine News.

A simple melt and mould process multiplies the waste plastic value tenfold easily. We are doing that right now. On a tour around Africa.

This year we have been in Botswana, Zimbabwe and now we are in Inhambane, Mozambique. South Africa is planned for next year.

This following example shows how to achieve value from the waste lying around your neighbourhood, beach or forest. That anyone can do really, if they just learn how to, and then to work safely with the melted material.

Bottle caps to whale sharks. An educational 7 minutes of fun shot in Mozambique. In the delightful Praia do Tofo market…

The video features link buttons at the end of the show leading to other plastic recycling projects that we are busy with right now.

It’s a worthy cause!

The products below all apply to various plastic recycling situations and requirements. With plastic recycling, there are absolutely ZERO blanket solutions. But we cannot rely on the corrupt and criminal corporates or the incapable and lazy governments that have trashed the world, in a flash of greed and senselessness.
