Fish braai at the Umzimkulu Marina
It’s that time again!

The Umzimkulu Marina is hosting another one of it’s famous fish braai’s on Sunday 1 March 2015.
Fresh fish in many guises – complimented with chicken and vegetarian dishes, served on the riverside greenĀ grass at the Umzimkulu Marina. (Lot 931 Sugar Mill Rd – approximately a kilometer after Spiller’s Wharf when coming from Port Shepstone the river way).
There is plenty parking so drive right in – the cooking starts at noon but many make a day of it and arrive as early as just after church!
BYO beer and refreshments, a chair to sit on, or a blanket and umbrella to really get comfortable. You can also bring your fishing rods, and free boat rides on the river will run all day.
The cost is R80 per person, kids R30.
See you there…bookings are essential…please contact Geraldine on 073 271 1694 or Bela on 078 538 9913.
The team at the Umzimkulu Marina would like to thank all those who came down to the river on Sunday – and contributed to such an awesome fun and flavour filled day.
The dorado was delicious, the amberjack rich and tasty, the redfish tender and the rockcod sweet as.
The next fish braai down at the Umzimkulu Marina will take place on the last Sunday of March – this next event will play host to stalls and displays aswell as the usual fishy attractions…
