Watch out for Bluebottles in this NE by Cliff Bamber at Scottbrugh Beach #report #kzn #water #conditions: what a windy day today it’s the last day of March 31st
Quarter past eleven in the morning
and the Easter holidays are here
lots of people on the beach
enough people in the bathing area
but a miserable windy north easterly wind
temperatures are quite pleasant 24 25 degrees
but looking at all of these gazebos
gives you an idea of the strength of the wind
so
you’re going to get stung on the beaches
with the sea sand
and there might even be blue bottles coming in later
I’m not happy with the colour of the water
there’s been some fairly dirty water washed down from
the Umkomazi River and you can see the brown patches
let me zoom in a bit for you there
not looking very nice at all
so for holiday makers a lovely day down at the beach
see a lifeguard running down there
is he doing anything uh
is he worried about anything
let’s have a look oh
he seems to just be going down
so if you’re a holidaymaker
it would be lovely to come down to the beach
but I think locals
you would be advised to stay away for today
