Team Matola…!

Well what a weekend…
Captain Keith Cooke started the trouble by inviting crew members Bazza, Dave and Tinny to join us on a sailfish hunt. The sailfish got clean away but this nice Couta made Dave’s weekend (and ours). Mike Hutch joined us on the Sunday attack but three strikes missed and several sheets to the absolutely no wind meant for mombakkies.
The ocean has become marvelous again and yes there are plenty sailfish about, but we have had a slow time of it.
Maybe today is the day….

Simon and his girlfriend Sara have had a great trip to Mozambique. He has accounted for no less than 4 Couta! The biggest being 16.2kg caught fishing out of XaiXai…including this one fishing with us…

James Edwards and crew…

James first skipjack gave him hell with the daisy chain in it’s side.
We swam it live but after the long fight he was in no condition to attract the sailfish we just seen.
We fortunately got a few more so it’s carpacio and saviche at Tofo Tofo restaurant again…
