MYDOs in Durban available at The Kingfisher

MYDOs in Durban available at The Kingfisher

Hunter Street in Durban is where it’s all been happening for decades now. The Kingfisher guys were among the very first to stock Mydo’s and to advertise in The Sardine Newspaper, in 1987?! That’s over 25 years later, and I doing the exact same job I was doing back then? Talk about getting nowhere?! 😉 Ha ha ha!

Ok, back to the future – The Kingfisher has been stocked up nicely with the spread of the original baitswimmers, rigged and ready to go catch a boat winning couta – which they do, often (the last was by Greg Defillipi when he and his mates went away with the winning ‘couta, barely minutes before thay had to hand in their camera to the officials of the Marlin Ski-Boat club catch and release competition, last year. Pink #4 with a mackerel bait.)

MYDOs in Durban available at The Kingfisher. If you wanna look this happy, go catch a boat with your Mydo. That’s what these chaps did in last years Marlin catch n release comp down in Port Edward.

In decades gone by, an independent study by a retailer saw Mydo Baitswimmers as having caught 30% of ALL the fish caught in one year during a league in Natal waters.

So pop in to The Kingfisher in Durban when you get a chance to check it all out – the new Luck Shot range is also on the shelves.

The Mydo range is also available all around the rainbow nation and where they are not, they will be. Otherwise, for those without tackle shops nearby, give me a buzz on umzimkulu@gmail.com or 079 326 9671 and we can work something out with Postnet delivery, which works great so far.
