Eagle’s Roost BnB on the Umzimkulu: this perfectly situated loft is right on top of the north bank mountain overlooking the entire Umzimkulu Estuary! 

Accommodation

We have two double rooms, and a double bunk in the living area. In total, we can sleep 6. It is shared ablutions with a steaming hot shower.

Bedding is provided; please bring your own beach towels.

Catering

Breakfast is included. Give us your further meal requirements beforehand, and we will quote you on getting it all together for you.

Fishing

Access to the Umzimkulu Estuary is via a steep path from the cottage to Lizard Rock. The very best fishing spot in the river. It is the narrowest and deepest part of the entire estuary. Rock salmon and perch live here. Garrick and Kingfish swim past like clockwork. We are a short drive to the mouth, where we will be fishing a lot. There are more places that we can drive to and fish. The low-level bridge is hot-to-trot! We have guides and boats available if need be. We also have a fishing tackle shop with ready-made traces and plenty lures on offer.
