Surfing

Southern Africa is full of classic surfing destinations. Any season. Any time. There are waves firing somewhere on this huge peninsula. That is what Southern Africa is, a huge peninsula jutting out way down into the southern oceans. Where the big swells roll in. Generated by the storms of the deep south, these massive swells hit Cape Town. Hard. And then split up and send firing waves and conditions up each coastline.

The West Coast

And its cold harsh desert conditions hide many caches of secret and not-so-secret waves to catch. The further you go up and away from Cape Town, the better your chances are of finding your paradise. All the way you go. Until The Skeleton. The very best wave in the world.

The East Coast

The Skeleton is on the same latitude as Sathanes. Another of Africa’s great waves. When these same swells that hit the Skeleton, reach Sathanes, they will have travelled many thousand miles. And are clean and polished. Perfected by the offshores that prevail on both sides of the continent all dry-season long (winter).

The warm water and favourable tropical to sub-tropical conditions are highly sought after. This is very easy living on this here side of Southern Africa. There are literally countless right-hand point breaks peppered in between with reefs and sandbars.

That will keep you so very on top of your fitness game.

Take a look through the places we have on offer. And the trips that we can put together for you. At whatever level of comfort you prefer. From tenting to 5 stars.
