Mozambique re-visited

Mozambique re-visited

Having a hard drive crash on you can be overcome quite quickly, I was very lucky to have finally gotten this little Acer to start up this morning, just now. I eventually just unplugged the machine, and bashed it around on my knees a little bit. And hey presto, it came back and this little old faithful laptop is back online.

What I was worried about though, more than anything else, were the photographs and videos thereon. Some are irreplaceable and although you can sometimes get over losing a few files, it’s not cool, especially since this computer is actually Chad and Heidi’s, from Lalaland?! I ended up with it after doing their website http://lalalandafrica.com, a year ago.

As I was going through the picture library, I found this folder full of friends and memories, of times past in Mozambique, when thesardine.co.za was actually based there…

The good news is that thesardine.co.za team is a-headed north and we can’t wait to catch up with friends and family!

We are taking guests up to Earth Lodge, and will be staying on the cyclones in the new year. Anyone wanting to join us up there – we have boats and houses rigged and ready – we are right in the middle of the action, between Barra superbanks and Tofinho Point. We mainly go surfing by boat, and fish along the way between breaks. Buzz Sean on umzimkulu@gmail.com

Barco onda stilha!

Lalaland also has some of their accommodations available this December in Tofo, check out http://lalalandafrica.com. It is right on the beach, features really cool rustic, yet elegant accommodations in a choice of double room en-suite cozy options.
