Chelsea making a noise alright
we are at Sunwich Port
what a beautiful spot holiday season water is clean
check that clean clean clean anyway
I know this is a good spot for brush and stuff
I mainly wanna film
garrick or snuck or something in the
in the surf zone but here goes the first quest
ah it broke
the camera broke this
the line broke and the camera landed up in a rock pool
for real
so now I gotta go fetch it and then there’s two
I got two shoes on there you see two yellow shoes
hmm
not anymore now there’s only one yellow shoe
but there’s still a camera
there’s still all my stuff
on the other side of the rock there
but one thing’s for sure that ocean is dangerous
doesn’t matter what you look check how bleak I am
doesn’t matter who you are what you do
don’t ever face your back to the waves
first of all right
little bit of a time lapse while we get ready again
retie the leaders and all that
thank goodness the so the line broke the braid broke
it was damaged somehow
don’t ever lend your rods out and uh
thank goodness it landed in the rock pool
now re tie here and there’s check one 1 shoe gone
okay but here comes the action sandwich port
case it in this could be anywhere
but just a place where I can get the camera in safely
so we get our first fish coming up
now wonder what it could be
very exciting when the water is clean like this
and you can learn a lot of stuff from from oh
who’s that did you see it

so that’s the first cast and I’m
I can’t see this stuff until I’ve bought it home
and Chelsea stop making those noises how’s it
alright camera’s rolling along the ground like that
obviously I’m just trying to cover ground
and the current is strong down there
the main thing you can learn
is what your bait would look like in that current
down there

okay that’s a little reef that precedes the gully
let’s call it Ian’s Gully
anyway lots of fish coming up on this video
it’s only 8 minutes long or less so just bear with me

by now I kind of very worried about the waves

this is by the way in Mozambique
when I threw the camera is a kingfish with child

they thought it was a plug in
I never put a hook in but I got some good footage

is it because
I think I was freaked out by the rocks and the waves
it was just getting it was just chaos at this point
really really dangerous
but I mean you can stand further back obviously
but I’m trying to get that camera right out there

so obviously they chow off the rocks
you can see that very clearly yeah
there’s a lot of them it might be 20 or thirty

a good glimpse of what it’s like down there
of what it looks like down there so lekker
all you want is a garick to swim past
but I shot the garick the other day
so I know I’ve got those guys number
I’m gonna get them at the sand spit next
I’m gonna throw a grapnel sinker
and then I’m gonna chuck
I’m gonna slide the camera down
facing up with a live bait on top
and we’ll see what’s going on
but yeah that’s underwater at Annelie’s Sandwich Port
it’s beautiful there’s hardly too many rocks there
trying to find a crayfish
I think the crayfish have all been taken out
no crayfish no crayfish um
another cost what’s gonna happen now

but I’m gonna I’m gonna just let it play out

all the fish and more all the fish and more
that’s for sure okay there goes the camera
I’m not gonna tell you where this is
because you probably know where it is
just a nice estuary
there’s the first carrot that these guys are common
frequent they actually frequent every estuaries
they can get into at the moment
next month or so even longer
long as the water stays clean and doesn’t rain
there’s a sardine bait on the end of my camera
I just put it there
just to be like some kind of attractant
sometimes I don’t put a camera a bait
anyway this could be one fish
that’s for sure that’s what Alan Carby says
but in a couple of these instances
you can see it’s not one fish and at the very end
you’ll see there’s a lot of fish
not sure exactly what that
last shell coming up at the end is
but yeah six sightings so far keep going
so you guys who wanna catch these fish in estuary
or in the surf here
that you can come and get in touch with me
and Callum and Ian
and we will take you to where these fish are
and we’ll fish with lures and live baits
you don’t catch these fish very easily
definitely not just not with sardine
sometimes you can catch them with a sardine
by the way a moving sardine works
that’s what Ian Logie’s trick is

and figure out where the bait is

it’s hard to see but that’s a lot of fish
