Port Shepstone

I’m at Station Bay again
I think maybe one shad came out here
in the last hour
when I was at the block I saw three come out
one nice size and then I heard it went dead
so I’m not sure what’s going on
but the water’s perfect for shad beautiful
picked up a small krill
or whatever you wanna call it on the beach
so maybe there’s bait fish around anyway
I’m sure it’s gonna improve
it can’t get much worse it’s gone quiet enjoy your day

Port Edward

Thank you Alan! Ok, now we are down to Port Edward to hear from Steve at Splash Rock, where it’s much the same story…the cold weather keeping people at home.

Splash Rock Port Edward
we’ll do a different view of things today
on the right hand side got a few fisherman out there
I saw one shad come up
okay look at the other side and report back from there
this is the northern viewpoint of Splash Rock
like I said the shadow coming out 1 – 1
nothing to write home about
the sea is looking brilliant
North East making a bit choppy
now way left of where we were
looking towards the swimming beach
through my dirty visor a windscreen sorry
she’s looking nice even here at Lucky Dip
there’s no one fishing so I don’t know what’s going on
very few people fishing today

BD Point again

Alright, we went back up to Bartholomew Diaz aka BD Point, to see the boys catching more couta and things off the beach! Duarte Junior and his younger brother Dario are holidaying and causing mayhem at the moment. You can see that footage in the roundup video at the end of this page. But in the meantime, watch Duarte Junior aged 8 catch hi first black marlin, also off BD.
