Sardines are Everywhere Today! Yip, it’s one of those magical sardine fever coated days here on the sunny KZN lower South Coast.
8 AM – reports of netters preparing at Margate and at Hibberdene
8:30 AM – both in Margate and Hibberdene, the netting boats almost flipped, both teams regrouped
9 AM Team Veez lands the official first net of 2024, on Margate Beach
9:30 AM A second net comes out at Margate, and after much tribulation Team Moonlite load their first BIG net at Hibberdene. There are netters on the Sandspit beach. And another net is being worked at Mbango in Port SHepstone.
