Returns Policy: At The Sardine News (thesardine.co.za/mydo), we take pride in offering high-quality, hand-crafted MYDO lures and unforgettable fishing trips, holidays, and cruises along the KZN South Coast. Due to the unique nature of our products and services, we operate a strict no-returns and no-refunds policy as outlined below:

  • MYDO Lures: All MYDO lures (e.g., Baitswimmer, Luck Shot Mini, SS Moby Spoon) are hand-made with precision and shipped with care. Due to their significant weight and high shipping costs, we do not accept returns or exchanges for lures, except in cases of manufacturing defects or damage during transit. If your lure arrives damaged or defective, please contact us at umzimkulu@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with photos and order details. We will assess and, if approved, replace the item at no additional cost, subject to stock availability. Personalized or custom lures are non-returnable.
  • Fishing Trips, Holidays, and Cruises: Bookings for fishing trips, holidays, and cruises are non-refundable and non-transferable. This includes cancellations due to weather, personal circumstances, or other reasons. We recommend reviewing trip details carefully before booking. In exceptional cases (e.g., trip cancellation by The Sardine News), we may offer a rescheduling option, subject to availability and at our discretion.
  • Consumer Protection: Per South Africa’s Consumer Protection Act, we ensure all products and services are accurately described on our website. If you receive an incorrect item, contact us within 7 days at umzimkulu@gmail.com to arrange a resolution. All sales are final for items purchased as described.
