Welcome to the ultimate coastal angling adventure! The South Coast Fishing Experience, hosted by Charles de Beer and proudly featured on thesardine.co.za, is your ticket to six days of guided fishing bliss, local hospitality, and unforgettable scenery.

Location & Arrival

• Fly into Margate Airport or drive yourself to our handpicked lodge on the South Coast.
• We’ll be waiting with open arms and a tackle-ready itinerary.

Accommodation & Meals

• 6 nights full board at our comfortable coastal lodge.
• Enjoy local and African cuisine prepared fresh daily.

Want more? Additional trips are available at a surcharge.

Deep-sea can be arranged, at a surcharge which will be far more reasonable than going market rate.

• Daily transport to and from fishing excursions included.
• Packed lunches provided for each outing.
• Bring your own tackle or buy/rent from us.
• We supply bait and live bait, and we’ll even teach you how to throw a cast net like a pro!

Camerawork & Extras

• Camerawork included to capture your best catches.
• Optional video editing add-on available.

Booking & Payment

Once your invoice is paid, your spot is confirmed and the adventure begins. This page forms the basis of your booking agreement.

Indemnity & Terms (The Fun Legal Bit)

By booking the South Coast Fishing Experience, you acknowledge that:

• You’re joining us voluntarily and understand that fishing involves nature, weather, and the occasional slippery rock.
• We provide safety and security, but you agree to fish responsibly and follow guide instructions.
• You indemnify Charles de Beer, thesardine.co.za, and all affiliates against any unforeseen fish-related incidents, rogue waves, or overly enthusiastic cast net attempts.
• All bookings are subject to availability and weather conditions. Cyclones, sea monsters, and pirate invasions may cause rescheduling.
• No refunds for missed trips due to oversleeping, unless you bring coffee.

Rates:

One Angler:     R60 000
Two Anglers:   R40 000 each
Three Anglers: R30 000 each
Four Anglers:  R25 000 each
Five Anglers:   R20 000 each
Six Anglers:     R20 000 each…and so on after this number, everyone is on the R20 000 tier. And that is great value for money!

Bigger groups or families are no problem, the more the merrier, we have the staff and the facilities. And we can cater for spectators/wives/girlfriends, at a better rate, since they might not be going on all the excursions. Please get in touch to work this out together.
