Stopping Shell Oil in the pouring rain!

Stopping Shell Oil in pouring the rain!

Stopping Shell Oil in the pouring rain! The communities that stood together in solidarity for the victims of Shell Oil’s seismic gas exploration ship – did so in the pouring rain yesterday. The 5 December 2021 will go down in history as a catalysing moment in the history of this country. When we all stood together, against that ship.

That ship. The unaptly named Amazon Warrior. That ship that pumps out lethal doses of soundwaves, via huge airguns, to search for gas reserves that we do not need to care about.

And on deeper investigation, it reveals that it’s a political level driven project motivated by the usual greed.

Fossil fuels

Burning fossil fuels is incredibly dumb. As dumb as cooking on an open fire indoors.

Tesla and its innovative wannabees have all begun the transition to totally renewable energy use. Decades ago. The bog that keeps green technology like this from being adopted worldwide, is called government. Instead of saving the planet, our ANC led hooligans-in-charge, carefully aware that they are on the slippery slope outta here – are now grasping for last-chances. Anything that they can get their hands on.

Until they are gone from power.

And the next bunch have a go at it.

Flawed system?

Bright side

At this stage, we are simply imagining the brighter side of this impending environmental tragedy. We are still in mid-fight. Courts have ruled a few times, dates are being bandied about – the most recent I understand is that on the 14 December another court judge says something or another.

So, the only bright side, is that communities far and wide, took to the beaches (and even streets of Johannesburg and some other kindred inland towns), during the pouring rain nogal!

And so the flame that has been lit, the flame keeping the movement gainst Shell and the government decision to allow the seismic murder to take place.

There are now so many groups and pages and communities, all banding together to fight Shell Oil. The movement has been noticed by mainstream media who are siding with Shell and the government. Because their very existence depends on their advertising money in the first place.

Go well. Go Shell!

Paid for spot in your brain and memory.

Government watchdogs

The Green Net is a prime example. And there are now many of these government watchdog organisations sprouting up all over the country. As it turns out, the ANC-led government, have been looting state coffers in plain daylight (never mind state capture) – in all sectors, all over this sad country.

Needless and pointless expenditure on massive scales. Building bridges and roads to absolutely nowhere. Corruption at every level, very department. The only way we can stop this is by following constitutional procedures and using the courts to restore our civil rights and liberties.

Luckily the very good people at HTTP://oceansnotoil.org have a legal team well-armed and fighting Shell Oil (and associates) right now. Pop on over to their very-well documented website. And join these guys wherever you can!
