Spearfishing news from KZN
By Jason Heyne
Diving conditions this week have been abysmal.
Clean water did push in at certain spots but an average of 2m surf kept the fish safe.
The sea did flatten out nicely today (Friday) and will be super flat Saturday and Sunday with a light offshore blowing Saturday morning switching to a light south West later in the afternoon till Sunday morning. Durban and surrounding areas were starting to clean up today. Hopefully some cleaner water will push in over the weekend. With all the rivers having opened into the sea there should be an abundance of sprats around which will attract gamefish in numbers. As always dive safe and straight spears.
