Spearfishing KZN report by Jason Heynes
Once again we have the reliable and waterproof Jason Heynes compiling and submitting a concise yet comprehensive Spearfishing KZN report. Jason dives the north and south coasts of KZN more than most and has created a network that gets all the weeks best photies to him, and then on to us, at thesardine.co.za. Check the gallery out below…
“The sea conditions have been outstanding this week. Sprats are loose with snoek shoaling and king mackerel heading south with a sprinkle of wahoo on the north coast. Viz up and down the coast is good with minimal swell. Bad news is a moderate north east is forecast for tomorrow(Saturday) coming through midmorning and blowing through the night with the swell picking up to 1.5m. So early bells Saturday morning it’s game on for a dive. Please don’t forget to purchase an East coast rock lobster permit before grabbing a few as the season is now open.  As always dive safe and straight spears. “
Thanks Jason for the report and for the timeous heads up on the crayfish season, that has just gotten underway for 2016.
Enjoy the gallery…
