Pierre de Villiers at The Block

Another seldom dived spot…hazards like flying lead and ski-boats, dirty water and the odd shark rumour keeps most spearos away from The Block in Port Shepstone. However, Pierre de Villiers, on a sojourn to the KZN lower south coast for some winter gamefish action prior to the sardines showing up…ventured out in the late afternoon today, reporting loads of kingfish and shad racing up and down the backline.

Whilst anglers were vying for blacktail and just size shad, Pierre shot a yellowfin kingfish  for the pan. Nice ride Pierre!
