The Lifestyle Expo 2015 is expected to attract huge crowds to Amanzimtoti
THIS year’s 51st Highland Gathering, held on KwaZulu-Natal’s South Coast on 2 May, promises to be another success as The Lifestyle Expo returns for its second year.
Organised by Big Events 365, The Lifestyle Expo will display an impressive array of products and services to enhance visitors’ lifestyles, all in one easy-access vicinity.
This expo will add value to an already successful one-day event, the Highland Gathering, which has been held annually in Amanzimtoti since 1963. Organised by the Amanzimtoti Lions, the Highland Gathering – which is reputedly the largest of its type in the Southern Hemisphere – is a huge boost to the local economy while also raising funds for charity. The introduction of The Lifestyle Expo to the event last year only added to this much-anticipated event.
“The Lifestyle Expo is not only affordable, but attracts 10 000 visitors on the day. It is the ideal marketing opportunity for any business,” explained event spokesman, Monique Botha of Big Events 365. “The Highland Gathering and Lifestyle Expo will also feature a flea market, 24 pipe bands and about 100 dancers from across the country to entertain visitors. There will also be a demonstration arena and fun children’s area, making this a lovely day out for the whole family.”
Based at Amanzimtoti’s stunning Hutchinson Park, The Lifestyle Expo is a high impact one-stop shop providing stall holders with powerful direct marketing and shoppers with an incredible variety of items to choose from.
The Health and Beauty section boasts, among other things, a multitude of hair and beauty products and services, medical services and spas, healthy eating and gym equipment.
Visitors wandering into the expansive Outdoor and Leisure section will find any equipment to suit their recreational needs such as caravans, boats, cars, trailers, electronic gadgets and vehicle accessories.
The House and Garden section offers those looking to enhance their homes, from the inside out, a range of quality-made furniture as well as electronics, security features and DIY products.
Also available to assist expo-goers will be representatives from reputable travel agencies, holiday venues, real estate agencies as well as experienced building contractors.
This action-packed one-day event provides an incredible platform for 130 stallholders to interact with an active buying audience face-to-face and is an excellent promotional opportunity no business can afford to miss. With marquee spaces starting at R180 per square metre and open-air starting at R125 per square metre – thereafter dropping to R80 per square metre – businesses of any type and size can afford to exhibit.
Entrance to the event is R40 per adult, R20 for children and pensioners. Gates open at 8am.
