Fishing School is back on at Umzimkulu Adrenalin: due to popular demand from hundreds of bored kids, we are re-opening Fishin’s Cool Fishing School.
Limited numbers! Ages allowed are 10 to 15.
R160 per day includes lunch (2 x hot dogs) and as much fruit juice as a kid can drink.
Classes will be held at Umzimkulu Adrenalin, down on Spiller’s Wharf, in Port Shepstone. Drop off starts at 7am and school lasts through the day. Through lunch, until 3pm. For another R50, 5pm is latest possible pickup.
Kids definitely need their own rod and reel each. We do supply bait and tackle. And all the guidance they need to become an environmentally aware and conscientious sport angler.
Enjoy the following movie shot during fishing school last year this time.
We’ve got an indemnity form for parent’s to sign. And a release form for if we have to administer disciplinary measures like keel-hauling. This ain’t our first school playground!
And we issue homework! That teaches kids (and adults) about all the estuary species we can encounter on the Umzimkulu River estuary. Their importance. Their biology. How-to-catch ’em. How-to-release ’em.
If weather permits and the kids are all well-behaved, a FREE boat trip might happen every now and then. In the estuary only not out to sea!
Ok, so get in touch with Sean on +27793269671 or email on umzimkulu@gmail.com. Fishin’s Cool does not run indefinitely so get your kid a good education while it lasts!
