Fishing for couta off Tofo Point, paddle ski fisherman Lius managed to wrestle this couta from a Great White Shark…possible the same monster that harassed Aaron Passchier last week.

Scientific rumour has it that a large female will habit a point a while, while her male suitors patrol the deeper water offshore around her. Then they all move on as a group. Let’s hope this big momma gets bored of the Tofo scene and moves off with her harem.
