EddlesGas and Tackle for MYDOs in Cape Town

EddlesGas and Tackle for MYDOs in Cape Town. It has taken some time but The Mydo is slowly winning over some support in the Cape areas. The latest shop to stock The Mydo is EddlesGas and Tackle, situated at…

where highly knowledgeable and experienced Werner, will put you right on top of the fish, with all the right gear.
Eddles (as it is has been fondly known for aeons) has a comprehensive stock of tackle catering to the whole lot, but mainly sport anglers in the Cape Peninsula area. Werner is an avid spinning angler and knows the region like the back of his hand. A very helpful attitude rounds off a great fishing tackle shop experience.
EddlesGas and Tackle are the first shop in the Cape area to stock the impressive and already proven MYDO SS Spoon range. They have the entire spread in stock:
The SS Shad is one of our most popular spoons and catches all kinds of fish from shad to tigerfish. For MYDOs in Cape Town head on over to EddlesGas and Tackle.
The spoons work differently with different retrieves and twitches. Crank one on the surface and water comes flying out the holes like a little jet ski, leaving a trail of smoke and bubbles in its wake that would make a jet ski proud.
Slow down your crank for mid water  flash and action.
Twitch the tip of your rod at even slower speeds to get radical directional change every time. This is the MYDO methodology – to make the lure swim like an injured or fleeing fish – and not just straight ahead like regular spoons. The highest quality marine grade 316 stainless steel acts nothing like metal and lead based lures, which are sluggish and heavy, and love the rocks. The MYDO SS Spoon range in 316 stainless, bounces over rocks and reef with minimal snags, compared to conventional spoon materials. The stainless steel also makes for far more vibrance and life in the water.
Give it a try!
The spoon shapes and contours were designed in the 80’s by the legendary Brian Davey, and have been adapted to stainless steel construction now in 2015. Patents and trademarks are all in place.
Pop in at EddlesGas and Tackle to check them out, get some excellent advice from Werner, and then go catch a fish!
