It’s that time again…and everyone with a boat is headed for Durban. With two brand new boats as prizes, this is the biggest ski-boat fishing event in Africa. See you down there. Look out for the MYDO and thesardine.co.za stand somewhere…
“The Durban Ski-Boat Club would like to welcome all competitors to the Annual DSBC Bonanza. This competition is open to both boats and jetski’s.
Some exiting news is that, bedsides the main prize of a 510 Seacat on trailer with 2x60hp Yamaha two stroke engines, we have also negotiated an insured prize of a 636 Seacat with 115 four stroke Yamaha engines. VALUE R660000—–we thank Duncan Osborne of CC&A, our short term insurers, for putting this together. This is really going to add a new dimension to the 2015 event. Although the rules are being put to bed now it works on the basis of a sealed weight that is only made known on Sunday night at prize giving. The sealed weight will be determined before the event by the reassure’s, and handed to the club on Sunday. This is being publicised in Ski Boat magazine so make sure you get the issue that will be out this week. With this magnificent prize it really brings up the overall value of prizes and sponsorship to the one and a half bar mark!
All entries received before end of January receive 3 lucky draw tickets, end of February 2 lucky draw tickets and end of March 1 lucky draw ticket which will qualify for excellent lucky draw prizes!
Remember you have to be in it to win it!!”
