Jason Heynes in his weekly spearfshing roundup for the coast of KZN and surrounds, announced todays crayfish competition at Umhlanga Beach. Thank you for the report Jason!
“Sea conditions were great at the beginning of the week then big pre winter swell pounded the coast for the rest of the week. The swell dropped today (Friday) and there was good viz on the bluff and far south coast. The swell should drop more on Saturday till a late 25knt south west wind picks it up again to 3m putting paid to any diving on Sunday. Prodigal, snoek and king mackerel are still around mostly north coast. Good luck to everyone who is entering the crayfish competition tomorrow! May the best bugger win. As always dive safe and straight spears.”
