Tidal Coefficient
This is a variable as important as neaps vs springs, high vs low. It is the coefficient and represents the amount of overall tide at a given time. You see, it is quite possible, that a spring high tide in November, is well higher than a spring tide in March. Sometimes, in some places, this difference can be up to or more than a metre (it is not so radical further south).
So this forecast is vital to be taken into account in all bar crossings or navigation through shallow areas. Luckily it is well-documented and is certainly something you need to know about.
You can study tidal coefficients and see the actual levels on the Tides for Fishing website at this link.
Sardine Run 2023
It’s been a great, albeit very early, sardine run. Use our purpose-built network for validating and reporting sardine activity. Do not ever follow the mainstream morons. They always get their information too late and inaccurate.
We run an interactive online Sardine Map each year.
Our YouTube channel is also totally focused on putting out accurate sardine news and information. Please like, subscribe and ring that stupid little bell, so that you can be sure you will not miss one sardine this year.
