Great news for sport and recreational anglers in Cape Town – The Fishing Republic interactive tackle store is set to open in The Strand, on the 1 December 2017!

In as much as the new shop will always be a true and traditional fishing tackle store, using technology to stay in touch with customers is part of the game plan. Kegan Matheys, owner of Fishing Republic, is way down the tech path, and will be using all the convenient networks and platforms, to be always available. With fishing tips and advice, weather and fishing conditions, you can order bait and tackle, organise a fishing trip or arrange a fishing buddy And, Kegan promises to share some of his secrets learned fishing The Strand so well, as he does.
